 2023: Udom Emmanuel anoints pastor as successor; Governor Udom Emmanuel has finally ended months of speculations and permutations with the presentation of one of his cabinet members to succeed him as Governor in 2023. At a well-attended PDP Stakeholders’ Meeting, which took place on Sunday evening at the Governor’s Lodge in Uyo, the state capital, Governor Emmanuel, after months of seeking the face of God, finally announced his Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umo Eno, as his preferred choice to succeed him. Former Governor, Obong (Arc) Victor Attah, thereafter made the formal presentation of Pastor Eno to the stakeholders, which comprise major and leading political chieftains from the three Senatorial Districts, who all applauded the choice and pledged to work towards his emergence as the governor of the state come 2023.  Dokubo launches fresh attack on Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB; NaKOxMBlvmdUqcF5qki6YAhjbFCGRqP1=s320" width="320" /> The leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force (NDPSF) Asari Dokubo, has once again tackled the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Dokubo faulted IPOB for saying he was behind the reported extradition of its leader from Kenya. Kanu and Dokubo have been at loggerheads over the quest for Biafra — the very cause that unites them. The cold war between them resulted in the formation of the Biafra Customary Government (BCG) which Dokubo announced in March 2020 with himself as the head.  Nigerian Footballer, Paul Onuachu Proposes To His Ghanaian Girlfriend In Paris; Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has announced his engagement to his long-term Ghanaian girlfriend, Tracy Acheampong. Onuachu revealed this in an Instagram post after he proposed to her in the city of love, which is also France’s capital, Paris. The 27-year-old posted a picture of himself and his future wife with the caption: She said YES in the city of Love. Onuachu has been dating his Ghanaian fiancee since his days at Midtjylland after they reportedly met at Amsterdam Airport. Although she has a relatively quiet social media life, Onuachu has never been shy to show her off. The two lovebirds were present at Peter Olayinka’s wedding, an international teammate of Onuachu.  White-collar jobs no longer available; youths should return to farm: Chris Ngige; Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has said that Nigerian youth should start farming maize, cassava, yam and other farm produce as white-collar jobs were no longer available. ”The time is also gone when we all queue up for white-collar jobs. They are not available anymore,” Mr Ngige said in a statement on Sunday. The minister said this while warning beneficiaries of skills acquisition training and empowerment programmes of the federal government to desist from selling empowerment items. Mr Ngige was quoted as giving the warning during the second phase of the ministry’s empowerment scheme in Awka, Anambra State. He advised the beneficiaries of the skills training programme to rather put the machines and other tools into good use and justify the efforts of the ministry than sell them.  Lady gives up on "Yahoo Yahoo" after Pastor Ibiyeomie's curses; A member of the Salvation Ministry, Ebimina Tamuno, has revealed that she cancelled her dream of becoming an internet fraudster after the founder of the church, Pastor Davide Ibiyeomie, rained curses on ‘Yahoo boys’. The  popular pastor had, during a sermon in his church, laid curses on Nigerian youths who are into fraudulent activities, saying they will die by accident if they fail to repent.
