Adazi-Nnukwu Town Went Agog As Slowdogg,Chiwetalu Agu,Vincent Opurum And Many Other Nigerian Celebrities Storm The Town To Celebrate The 90th Birthday Of The Father Of The CEO Of Solex Multi-Ventures Nig.Ltd.

The peaceful and calm town of Adazi-Nnukwu in Anaocha LGA of Anambra state,Nigeria went agog on Sunday,9th January,2020,as Mr Thomas Uzoekwe the father of Mr Solomon Uzokwe who is the CEO of Solex Multi-Ventures Nig.Ltd.,celebrated his birthday in a grand style.

The birthday celebration started with a pontifical thanksgiving mass celebrated at St Andrew's Catholic Church Adazi-Nnukwu by the Bishop elect of the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi,Most Rev Jonas Benson Okoye.Immediately after the Holy Mass,all road led to the Afor civic center Adazi-Nnukwu where the major events took place.

The event was well attended by the indigenes of Adazi-Nnukwu and many other friends and well wishers from other towns around.The three clan chiefs,the president general and the traditional prime minister of the town were all present to grace this August ceremony.

The quiz competition sponsored by Mr Solomon Uzokwe,the son of the celebrant and organized by the Adazi-Nnukwu Dynamic Minds League(DML),live performances by some of the guest artists,presentation of gifts to the celebrant and a host of capivating events formed the major highlights of the celebration.

Mr Thomas Uzokwe, the celebrant was a retired cathechist.In his vote of thanks,he appreciated all those who made out time to celebrate him. He prayed God almighty to grant us all long life with good health.

The celebration ended late at night with so many entertaining activities.There were also more than enough to eat and drink.

St Anthony’s Catholic Comprehensive Institute Agulu Victorous again...

  Some students of St Anthony’s Catholic Comprehensive Institute wrote their names on the history book as they emerged victorious in the just concluded Awka Dioceasan quiz competition sponsored by the catholic bishop of the diocese, Most Rev PC Ezeokafor.  The mangager Rev.Fr. Val Ezenduka with the participants. The competition started at the region level. All the catholic secondary schools in Awka Catholic Diocese participated at their various level.  St Anthony’s Institute was not left out, as some of the students represented the school at Adazi region. They emerged the winner at that level which qualified them to partake at the diocesan level.  The diocesan level took place at St John of God catholic secondary school, Awka on the 1st of February, 2022. BREAKING NEWS:I Don’t Want To See Nnamdi Kanu In These Clothes Again – Judge Orders DSS

  Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has given an order to the Department of State Services (DSS) to allow Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to change his clothes; Previously, Nyako had directed the DSS to allow the IPOB leader to have his bath whenever he wanted to, change his clothes, eat properly and practise his faith. However, at the court session on Tuesday, the newly introduced Kanu's lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome, complained that his client was still being subjected to poor treatment in DSS custody. He said Kanu was still being kept in solitary confinement and that any other detainee who greeted him was also kept in solitary confinement. Shortly before adjourning the matter, Nyako reminded the defendant that a detention facility was not a five-star hotel. Evans denies being a kidnapper, says ‘police forced me to sign documents; Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, suspected kidnap kingpin all known as Evans, had denied the allegation of his involvement in abducting a certain businessman. While answering questions from Yusuf Sule, the prosecution counsel, during Friday’s court session, Evans said he was forced to sign documents and act in a certain manner as directed by the police. He denied being a kidnapper, adding that he has a transport business with over 30 workers. Evans also denied collecting $420,000 as ransom from the family of one Sylvanus Ahamonu, a businessman, stating that he never met the man until his arrest. Ahamonu and his wife testified via Zoom on December 17. The businessman had told the court that his car was ambushed by some men in police and military uniforms, including Evans, who claimed to be officers of the defunct special anti-robbery squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force.
