A 22-year-old man, Mubarak Olarenwaju, was docked in an Ojo Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for attempting to escape from the court;
The police charged Olarenwaju, whose house address was not given, with willful damage to court property and attempted escape from lawful custody.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Magistrate Taiwo Popoola admitted the defendant to bail of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
